ساختمان اداری شیشه کاوه
این پروژه به منظور دسترسی آسانتر، حمل و نقل عمومی بیشتر و ترافیک سواره کمتر برای چند هزار نفر نیروی کاری در انتهای بلوار اوشان-دارآباد واقع شده است. سایت پروژه محدودیت بزرگی برای طرح آن محسوب می شد و پلان خطی را به آن تحمیل می کرد. با این وجود تلاشهای بخصوصی جهت خلق فضاهای غیر خطی و غیر تکراری در آن صورت گرفت که الزاما از الگوی خطی مورد انتظار پیروی نمی کردند
خلاقیت در این پروژه از طریق تعریف محدودیتها و توسط خلاصه کردن عناصر طراحی به : نور، رنگ و فضا گسترش می یابد
نور طبیعی روز یکی از عناصر اصلی در طراحی این پروژه به حساب می آید که علاوه بر ذخیره انرژی دارای خاصیتهای مفید فیزیولوژیکی و روانی برای کارکنان مجموعه نیز می باشد. از آنجا که واکنش مخاطب در مقابل نور طبیعی روز و منظر طبیعی ناشی از آن همواره مثبت ارزیابی شده است، انتظار می رود در این پروژه باعث کاهش استرس، سردردها و اختلالات ناشی از خستگی چشم در کارکنان مستقر در واحدها گردد
در عین حال رنگها در این پروژه به عنوان موضوع مهمی در ایده طراحی نقش ایفا می کنند. هر شخصی به رنگ بخصوصی واکنش نشان می دهد، رنگها یادآور خاطرات از زماان و مکان خاصی برای اشخاص می باشند و یا کیفیت احساسی مخصوصی را در آنها ایجاد می کنند. از دیگاه سهروردی آنها کاملا غریری و تعریف ناشدنی هستند
هر میدان فضایی در این پروژه از ترکیب اشکال هشت ضلعی خالی شده ای بوجود آمده اند که در امتداد ارتفاع پروژه بصورت زیگزاگ در حال چرخش هستند. در هر لحظه از تجربه فضایی ملاقات کنندگان و مقیمان ، آنها می توانند فضای پهلوی محیط خویش را در امتدادهای گوناگونی ببینند و مسیر خویش به سمت فضاهای عملکردی مورد نظرشان را ارزیابی نمایند
بارزترین ویژگیهای درخواستی ما از لحاظ صرفه جویی در مصرف انرژی در این پروژه عبارتند از: استفاده از نور طبیععی روز، کنترل انرژی گرمایشی خورشید در پوسته خارجی و فضاهای درونی و تهویه طبیعی فضاهای عملکردی چهار عدد فضای حائل و یک عدد آتریوم مرکزی در این پروژه وجود دارند که تهویه طبیعی پروژه بواسطه آنها اتفاق می افتد.در تابستان هوای مصرف شده فضاهای اداری از طریق این فضاها به بیرون ساختمان منتقل می شوند و در زمستان گرمای موجود در ساختمان بواسطه عملکرد آنها حفظ می گردد

The project is located in Darabad-Tehran. The purpose was to easier access, more public transport and less vehicle traffic for several thousand workers in this building. The site forced a huge constraint and dictated a linear planning, hence, special efforts were made to ensure the creation of non-monotonous spaces which did not necessarily follow the expected linear pattern.
Creativity in this project develop within the framework of constraint by limiting the elements of design to: light, color and space.
Natural daylight is an indispensable design element in this building which brings energy saving to the project and also non-energy benefits as workers are affected both psychologically and physiologically. Because natural views trend to produce positive responses, they may be more effective in reducing stress, headaches, SAD and eyestrain.
At the same time colors can be an extremely subjective topic in the project design idea- everyone has their favorite colors, colors that remind them of a place or time, or that have specific emotive qualities.
Each plaza in this project is composed of interlocking octagon shapes that create a zigzagging pattern. At any given moment the visitors and employees can see what is beyond the immediate spaces in different directions and determine their path through the offices accordingly.
The most requested features about energy saving in this project are: day-lighting, solar heating control and natural ventilation. There are four buffer zones and a central atrium in this project which the stack effect is happening in them. In the summer mode, used air from offices will go out of the building by these zones and in the winter mode they act as an energy savor to collect the heat.
