به وجود آوردن شور و نشاط و تحرك و در نتيجه سلامت جسم و روان هدف اصلي در يك باشگاه ورزشي است، كه اين مهم عامل جمع چند ركن اساسي مي¬باشد،از خدمات صحيح كاركنان و كيفيت دستگاه¬ها و استاندارها گرفته تا فرم و رنگ و روابط فضايي باشگاه .در طراحي مجموعه¬هاي ورزشي به دليل اينكه مخاطباني با سنين مختلف بعنوان كاربر مي¬باشند كار را براي طراح پيچيده مي¬كند و اين موضوع زماني پيچيده¬تر مي¬شود كه طراحي احساس كاربران را برانگيزد و به آنها شور و شوقي ببخشد كه كه پيش¬تر در زندگي روزمره كمتر تجربه كرده¬اند و اين انرژي آنها را به سمت تحرك سوق دهد.پس طراحي با پيدا كردن پاسخ اين سئوال آغاز شد كه چگونه كيفيت و كميت يك فضاي ورزشي بر مخاطبان آن تاثير تحرك بخش داشته باشد؟ پاسخ به اين پرسش، آغاز سئوالات ديگر بود كه نتايج آن طرح را شكل داد
ابتدا پس از مطالعات اولیه بر روی رفتارشناسی فیزیکی ورزشکاران و بررسی دستگاه های ورزشی گوناگون لکه گذاری های اصلی و زون بندی اصلی انجام شد . سپس با توجه به تغییر کاربری از پارکینگ مازاد و انباری به باشگاه روند تخریب برخی نقاط و اضافه کردن شاسی های زیر سازی جدید و در ادامه نیز برپایی دیوارهای اصلی آغاز گشت ، سیستم تاسیسات برقی و مکانیکال سابق برچیده شد و با توجه به کاربری جدید سیستمی جدید ارائه گردید . در مراحل اولیه تعریف ورودی و دیواره های آن و نحوه ارتباط با فضاهای مختلف و ایجاد دسترسی به آنها بررسی گشت ، در این مقطع از مسائل مهمی که باید مورد توجه قرار میگرفت ايجاد حس انتقال از فضاي روزمره به فضايي ورزشي بود،پس با نوعی نگرش ساخنار شکنانه ( دیکانستراکشن) با توجه به کاربری و كاربران اين مجموعه كه آقايان بودند، كيفيت فضايي با روحيات و احساسات آنان ادغام شد ، خطوط صاف و موازي جاي خود را به خطوط كج و احجام صخره مانند دادند و نورها نیز با دامنه و طيف مختلف فرم¬ها را مشخص¬تر كردند
رويكرد روانشناسانه و رفتار شناسانه در کنار استانداردها محور اصلي انتخاب رنگ¬ها، نورها،فرم¬ها، و روابط فضايي بوده و اين باعث شد بستر طرح بر اساس نگرش علمي در كنار نگرش زيبایی شناسانه شكل¬گيرد. از این روی، سعي شده نورها براي هر فضا در مجاورت هر دستگاه تعريفي خاص و حس خاصی ايفا كند.انتخاب متريال¬ها با توجه به موقعيت آن به لحاظ بافت ، قابليت تميز كردن، آنتي¬باكتريال بودن و… از توجه ويژه¬اي برخوردار بودند
